Indonesia Telecommunication Network Ready 4G/LTE

In various surveys, the category of mobile gaming and streaming video and TV menampati the top in internet use. Unfortunately, support for accessing the content is still very poor.
In addition to access this content because it takes a large network capacity, the problem of speed is also an obstacle for users who want to enjoy the content. However, with LTE technology, the problem can be minimized.
LTE is the fourth generation of mobile broadband technology allows users reaching application of innovative multimedia services. To that end, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) have been prepared to provide the LTE technology on consumers.
"We are ready to help telecom operators to convert their networks to LTE," said Dharma Simorangkir, Strategic Marketing Middle East Asia Nokia Siemens Networks in Jakarta, 21 September 2011 in Jakarta.
According to Dharma, LTE technology has two advantages. The first, the speed advantage that provides convenience in accessing certain content. Second, is a better response latency.
"LTE is much faster than 3G. Its speed can reach 102Mbps in the downlink and 48Mbps for uplink, "says Dharma. "From the tests conducted, the response latensinya too low," he said.
With these advantages, Dharma said, LTE can provide great opportunities for content providers and Internet users in Indonesia market. The reason, of the data collected, the behavior of surfing in Indonesia are not far from the mobile gaming and video streaming.
So, how's readiness for the LTE network in Indonesia is this?
According to Dharma, NSN base stations in use today is actually ready to be converted to LTE. "It's ready, the base station software we only need to be replaced," said Dharma.
However, Dharma said, there are obstacles that still block, which is about the regulations that are still simmering by the government. For that, it was also ready to assist the government for the continuation of a better broadband.
"If the LTE is optimized, it will provide benefits for Indonesia," said Dharma. "With LTE, the potential of Indonesia could be introduced to the world," he said.
Dharma also stressed that along with the growing connectivity of a country, so he will be able to increase the country's GDP. For information, this time in Asian countries, new from the Middle East, Japan and Korea are already implementing LTE technology.
